Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your point of view) my participation in our fledgling online community recently has taken a back seat to my school commitments - in particular the 1st XI Hockey team and tournament week. The yearly ritual combat season is upon us and we are roadtripping to Oamaru each day.
So I've taken a lurking approach to this week - and have taken Leigh's advice to try and learn more about the members of our community.
Stage one is setting up my google reader. Check.
Stage two is work on some witty comments for each members blog. Pending.

Hi Mark
Good luck with the hockey - hope your team wins!
I'm not going to attempt a witty one-liner - I'd be here a long time!!! And if I did think of one I can pretty much guarantee that I would make myself laugh and no-one else :)
I'm a 'lurker' by nature I think - but I'm making an effort to leave comments - and I'm hoping that at some point I'll have something educationally interesting to contribute. Until that happens(just made myself laugh) - this might help you know a little bit more about a fellow student!
Cheers
Yvonne
I'm out of action this week too. 4 day week after a week off --> Way too much to do, so I've been restricted to briefly surfing through other people's postings.
I'm off to conference in Wellington today, and hopefully next week should be able to be involved a bit more.
Yvonne - Your reflection about not wanting to attempt a witty one-liner made me laugh. :-)
